“FERRMOSCA ”
FERNANDO FERRAMOSCA

Fernando Ferramosca ::: Dreams and delusions of the modern day.
Fernando Ferramosca is both an artist and an architect. His works are an experiment whereby, through the use of various materials, mostly recycled, he combines painting, architecture and micro-sculpted figures to achieve three-dimensional compositions that portray the fictional reflections of the pop culture and post modern age that feed back into and influence our “real world”.

These miniature worlds of imaginary shapes drawn from the fantasies of the artist’s playful mind are transformed into buzzing urban settings that are full of life, color and detail. Each creation becomes a mini stage set telling a story and luring the viewer into the illusions he creates, where not everything is what it seems.
The artist builds his intricate worlds piece by piece, in the most artisanal way; representations of the architectural and volumetric qualities of his artistic form are projected into the future as Fernando searches for new materials and new mediums for his art.

Though Ferramosca’s work stems from a creative yet structured sense of reason, applied as a powerful logic solving tool, his art exists and grows in the realm of emotions. He plans and delineates his pieces though each one in fact, becomes a game where circumstance, probability and random situations purposely give it its final form thus conveying both the dreams and delusions of the modern day.
